About Leadership Greater Hartford:
Founded in 1977, Leadership Greater Hartford is one of the largest, most diverse, and effective community leadership organizations in the country. Our mission is to develop, connect, and inspire diverse leaders to build strong and vibrant communities.

Karen Senteio
Director, Consulting & Training
Karen Senteio joined the staff of Leadership Greater Hartford as Director of Consulting and Training in March of 2016. A Professional Coach and owner of VERVE LLC, Consulting Services, she also brings more than 25 years corporate experience at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. in leadership positions in Project and Program Management, Operations, Information Technology, Diversity and Inclusion, Training, Facilitation and Change Management. Her corporate experience provides a unique backdrop to her coaching and consulting practice providing a lens into the many challenges individuals face in the workplace and at home. She works with professionals to lead powerfully, authentically and courageously to create cultures that innovate and inspire powered by connection, engagement, ideas and energy at all levels within the organization.
Andre Santiago
Senior Program Director
Andre Santiago has been with LGH since 2007, and currently serves as a Senior Program Director. His current role is overseeing programs for young leaders, including Common Ground, an interdistrict leadership program for urban and suburban students and Summer Nexus, an intensive leadership camp at Trinity College. In addition, he directs Leading Off Campus, LGH’s newest program which brings student leaders together to expand and develop their leadership skills and build connections and networks that will assist them in transition after graduation. He is a certified Enneagram trainer and frequently is a facilitator in LGH’s Consulting & Training services. Former roles at Leadership Greater Hartford include Program Coordinator for the Quest Program, LGH’s signature program, and Program Director for Leaders on Board, that trainsindividuals to serve on nonprofit board of directors and connects them to boards seeking new members.
